Water is the basis of life on our planet. However, its pollution and irrational use lead to disastrous consequences for the people themselves. During games and research, the participants tried to convey to the kids not only physical properties water, but also its value for humans, animals and plants. And to consolidate their knowledge, they made a variety of crafts, posters and homemade books on the topic “Save water!”

The book is a drop of “Where does water live?”

The idea arose from a question from my middle son Artemy (2.9 years old), where does water live? Conducted social a survey among our many children and the result was a book like this - just a drop. We needed:

1. Blue paper;
2. Blue velvet paper for the cover;
3. Brushes, paints, pencils, markers, glue, scissors;
4. Thread or tape for fixation.

We cut out the pages of the future book in the shape of a drop of water. On each side we make a drawing answering the question where water lives. Then we make a hole in the top of the drop with a hole punch, write text on the pictures and fasten it with thread or tape.

Our text was like this:

Where does water live?
In the well by the yard,
In the drops of rain,
in my aquarium,
And even underground.
We have water in you.
In animals and in the river.
And at cosmic altitude.
In the tree and in the flower.
Save water everyone!

The cover can be designed, but we decided to leave it simply velvet blue, like the sea (this is Timofey’s definition). The illustrations for the book were drawn by my niece Lisa (11 years old).

Drawing on the theme “Save water!”

The main idea was that our planet should not be without water.

Yana did everything herself when I told her about the task: she came up with it, drew it, and signed it. I tried to suggest something, correct something, but she did not accept my ideas, so it turned out 100% children's creativity. My older brother and I sat down to draw and did everything quickly.

Each page of the book shows incorrect behavior at the beginning, and by peeling back part of the image you can see a way to be careful with water. All pages are visible in the photo. The latter is a question mark for other options.

The pages were stapled and decorated with beautiful adhesive tape. Now we are at the dacha without access to a printer, so I drew the pictures myself. But the children understood all the pictures, so the main objective achieved. I did most of the work, the children helped paint the details.

This time my daughter and I created some kind of installation. The idea came spontaneously and we brought it to life very quickly.

Main idea: loss clean water- the main resource of our planet.

The hardest part: the faucet from which a drop of water flows. I made it out of cardboard, and the drop is a piece of a bag. While I was making a faucet and attaching it to it using plasticine, my daughter was looking for and laying out earthly inhabitants, whose life depends on the presence of clean water.

The idea for the craft was inspired by the cartoon “The Tale of the White Ice,” where a penguin and a whale teach: “Cleanliness is the key to health!”, “Order comes first!”

Using black and blue plasticine on cardboard, Vladik made a dirty oil slick in the ocean. Then an ice floe made of polystyrene foam was glued onto the spot. We made trash out of pieces of paper. The ice floe on our sides was also “contaminated” with black plasticine. Next, we molded it and attached it to the ice floe using a toothpick. Finally, a poster was made over the penguin using two sticks, paper and tape. Our craft is ready.

The idea came from my mother following the footsteps of the well-known posters in the USSR. But I wanted to be more original, and for the child to participate. Therefore, our droplets became multi-layered. Mom cut out 3 drops of 3 different sizes, even their materials are slightly different (cardboard, colored paper and velvet paper). First, we folded the drops in half, repeating the concept of more and less in the process, then my daughter coated the edge of the drop with glue and stuck it on. This is how our droplets were born.

Then mom finished drawing the faucet and came up with a valve on top that you can turn if you want. It is made of two strips of cardboard, secured with a pin (the needle is taped at the back for safety). And now our poster is ready, it took its place in the bathroom, on the closet door, so that the whole family would not forget to turn off the water.

Another expedition on the topic of water has ended, and in order to consolidate the knowledge gained, I decided to make appliqués with the girls. I decided to make the meaning of the pictures as follows: what is water needed for? and what will happen if there is no water?

I found suitable pictures, and my eldest daughter cut out “lake” and “dry lake” from colored paper. We made an applique, and dad painted the rest of the picture. In the first picture we have a lake, a forest, animals near the water,

Preservation environment and its resources, including one of the most important – water, has recently acquired particular relevance. The entire world community is concerned about solving the problem of providing water to the population and economy. According to official data, today over one billion people on the planet do not have access to clean water. And in the future, this situation may become even more acute, since due to constant demographic growth and climate change, the shortage of water resources will only worsen.

By this date, taking into account the urgency of the problem, we decided to hold a regional Drawing, Poster and Slogan Competition (hereinafter referred to as the Competition) “Save water - save life” in 2011. We developed regulations, sent them to educational institutions in the city and region, and published the information in the Tuymazinsky Vestnik newspaper.

In 3 nominations, each - 3 age groups, 36 winners were identified who took prizes. Tuymazyvodokanal LLC has identified the recipient of the Grand Prix - Sabirov Aidar from grade 7 B at school No. 8. His poster with his own poems was designed as a banner on one of the city streets. The head of the sales department of Tuymazyvodokanal, R.A. Siraev, spoke at the award ceremony. Each participant was given a booklet “Let's Reduce Water Consumption!”, developed by librarians. The event was covered in the Tuymazinsky Vestnik newspaper, and a story was filmed and shown on TV by correspondents from the Tuymazinsky Television studio (program “Objective”, March 26). When a banner with the winner’s poster was installed (at the intersection of S. Yulaev and 70 Let Oktyabrya streets), this event was also covered on television (the Lens program, September 2).

The drawing competition had a wide public response - everyone took part in it educational establishments cities and regions, art schools; information about him was published in the newspaper and on television. Goals: to attract attention to the problem of rational use of water resources, to educate ecological culture in the residents of the city and region, stimulating the creative initiative of the population - were achieved.

The result, in the form of a banner with a poster of the winner, encourages citizens to take care of water.

Competition of drawings, posters and slogans “Save water - save life!” (hereinafter referred to as the Competition) is held by the city model library No. 3 MAUK "MCB" MR Tuymazinsky district within the framework of the Action Plan for environmental education of the population for 2011 and is dedicated to World Water Day, which is celebrated annually on March 22.

The Organizing Committee carries out organizational work on the preparation and holding of the Competition and accepts competition materials. The Competition jury evaluates the contestants and determines the winners in categories.

River water is called fresh water. River water is purified in a special place called a water treatment plant, after purification it enters our apartments through water taps.

What conclusion can be drawn from this? (Water must be conserved because there is little fresh water on Earth).

Game: “What happens if the water disappears?”

4. Stuff the gloves with padding polyester and attach them in place. This is how the theme of natural ecology came into play. After all, this garbage will not harm her if you make crafts like this for the dacha or for a competition.

To prevent your child from getting hurt on the sharp edges of the plastic, sand them first with coarse, then fine sandpaper.

And to make a helicopter, you will need:

2. Let him cut out the trunk and branches of a tree from brown suede, and its crown from green fabric. If it is an apple tree, let him cut out fruits from scraps of the appropriate color. Sew loops to them, let him put them on the buttons sewn to the crown.
3. To help your child develop hand motor skills, sew a zipper onto the trunk and let him unfasten and fasten it. Sew lacing here, which will also help develop your baby's fine motor skills.

Like apples, cut out butterflies from thick fabric; they can also be attached to wood using loops and buttons.

Let the child glue these 2 balls together and glue roving or wool on top of one, which will become the hair of the tumbler. Tie a scarf for her. If mom has some cord left over from needlework, let her show her daughter or son how to sew on this thin braid by folding it to make a flower. You can first edge the fabric petals with this cord, and then stitch them onto the canvas.
