However, the advantage of this method of preparation is that there is no need to constantly monitor and be nearby. Turn on the device and go about your business. It will turn off in time and keep your dish warm for several hours.

Ingredients

  • half a kilogram of turkey fillet;
  • sea salt;
  • medium bulb;
  • milk - half a glass;

Option 3. Steamed diet turkey cutlets

As a rule, a roll or white bread soaked in milk is added to the cutlet mince. But if you replace it with cereal flakes, the cutlets will turn out much healthier and more tender. They are pre-soaked in water, milk or other fermented milk products.

  • fine salt;
  • 100 g onions;
  • spices;

Option 5. Steamed turkey cutlets with potatoes

For cooking, it is better to use the breast, but if you want the dish to be more satisfying, you can take the meat from the thighs. The cutlets will be juicier if you add boiled potatoes to the minced meat.

Ingredients

  • turkey meat - half a kilogram;

Divide the minced meat into equal small parts and form each into a round cutlet. Grease the steamer grate with oil. Place the cutlets on it. Pour a glass of filtered water into the steamer pan. Place a grill with cutlets on top. Cover with a lid and cook for half an hour.

You can add grated raw potatoes to the minced meat. However, in this case, the cooking time must be increased to an hour. You can serve the cutlets with tomato or garlic-sour cream sauce.

Turkey meat in itself is very dietary, and if it is cooked correctly and tasty, it simply has no price! It is not as dry as chicken, not as tough as beef, does not have an unpleasant odor like lamb, and is not at all greasy, unlike pork. And if you bake turkey cutlets in the oven, even a baby who has barely teethed can eat them. And preparing them is not at all difficult.

Such simple cutlets

First, let's figure out how to cook turkey cutlets without any fancy tricks or frills. The only thing we insist on in principle is the use of natural meat, and not ready-made minced meat. This way you will definitely be confident in all the components that were “put into use” and in their freshness. Take half a kilo of turkey meat (the breast is most suitable for our purposes, but if you have other parts of the carcass on hand, you can use them too, you just have to put in a little effort to separate the flesh from the bones). The meat is ground with an onion and three cloves of garlic (if you don’t mind it) and kneaded with salt, pepper and two eggs. In a bowl, combine half a glass of milk and 100 grams of breading; You can also add chopped herbs. It should be a fairly thick paste. The formed cutlets are dipped into this mixture and laid out on a greased sheet. The temperature in the oven rises to 190 degrees. Our turkey cutlets will spend a little over half an hour in the oven.

Cutlets with cheese filling

If you don't want to limit yourself to the most simple recipe, you can pay attention to the following. The minced meat is made in the same way as described above, only three slices of bread soaked in milk are added to it, and garlic is removed from the list. Additionally, a 150-gram block of cheese is grated into a bowl. The minced meat is used to make a kind of flatbread with a fairly large diameter, but not thin. A spoonful of cheese is placed in the middle of each, after which a semi-finished product is formed. Now you need to roll the turkey cutlets in breadcrumbs - they will stay in the oven for the same amount of time as in the first recipe, only the temperature needs to be raised to 200 degrees. To guarantee (so that the cheese does not leak out of a random crack), the product can be rolled in breadcrumbs twice, but then the crust will be tougher.

Chopped cutlets

Usually, before preparing turkey cutlets or any other meat, the original product is passed through a meat grinder. However, culinary geniuses believe that such products are juicier and more aromatic without the use of grinding devices. The same half a kilo of turkey fillet must be thoroughly blotted with a towel and finely chopped with a sharp knife. Greens and large onions are chopped in the same way. All components are added, peppered, sprinkled with balsamic vinegar (0.5 tsp) and mixed. After this, the minced meat should sit for a third of an hour. Then an egg is introduced into it, it is kneaded again, and a fascinating process begins: a cutlet is molded with wet hands and immediately placed in a frying pan with heated olive oil. Fry thoroughly on both sides, slowly, until crusty, and preferably eat hot.

Baby cutlets with pumpkin

For kids, we adapt the chopped version so that it brings them more benefits and is easier to digest, that is, we prepare turkey cutlets in the oven. The same half-kilogram of poultry fillet is finely chopped, two hundred grams of pumpkin are grated, a medium onion is cut into several pieces and turned into porridge with a blender. All the components come together; Salt, egg and breadcrumbs (three or four spoons) are added to the mass so that it becomes thick enough. Small cutlets are made from it, laid out on a baking sheet lined with parchment and sprinkled with the same breadcrumbs. The top of the product should be greased with melted butter and covered with foil. The baking sheet is placed in the oven for twenty minutes, then the foil is removed and the cutlets are baked open for the same amount of time.

Cutlets with mushroom sauce

You can choose any of the methods described above for preparing the products themselves. The main thing here is the sauce. For it, a quarter kilogram of peeled champignons is finely chopped, fried in butter. As soon as the mushrooms turn brown, add flour (two spoons). Once the flour has browned, add a glass of cream and add your favorite spices. After five minutes of boiling, the sauce is ready and fragrant. It will make your delicious turkey cutlets even more appetizing!

Multicooker recipe

In exactly the same way as described above, minced meat is made from half a kilogram of fillet, an onion, an egg and two pieces of loaf. There is no need to roll the formed products in flour or breading - turkey cutlets do not burn in a slow cooker. However, if you are more familiar and tastier this way, you can bread them. The prepared “rounds” are laid out along the bottom of the bowl, a couple of tablespoons of oil are poured in, the lid is closed and the frying mode is turned on for five minutes. When the bell rings, the turkey cutlets in the slow cooker are turned over, and the process is repeated exactly. As you can see, with this device they cook even faster than using a conventional stove.

Steamed turkey cutlets

It’s very good if you have a double boiler. If not, you will have to find a large colander and place it on a pan of boiling water, and also cover it with a lid of a suitable diameter. Such tricks are only appropriate if you need steamed turkey cutlets very urgently and unexpectedly. If you simply like this method of cooking, then the mentioned unit most likely takes pride of place in your kitchen. So, let's get down to business! You use the most common minced meat recipe, just add a spoonful of lean (preferably olive) oil into it. In a double boiler, the cutlets cook for a third of an hour, and you don’t even have to turn them over.

And if you want even more tender and juicy cutlets, you can add grated zucchini to the ground turkey - a little less than half the weight of the meat. The result is simply an airy dish!

Immediately place the finished cutlets in the steamer bowl so that there is still a little space between them (during the cooking process they will slightly increase in size).

Turn on the electrical appliance and set the time 20 minutes. Close the container with a lid and prepare the cutlets. Attention: upon expiration 10 minutes Be sure to turn the dish over to the other side using a kitchen spatula. This way it will steam well and become more tender and juicy. At the end we turn off the steamer, but we are in no hurry to take out the cutlets. Just remove the lid and let it cool slightly.

Step 6: Serve the steamed turkey cutlets.

When the cutlets have cooled slightly, use a kitchen spatula to remove them from the steamer and transfer them to a special plate. But you can treat your friends and family like this delicious dish along with all kinds of side dishes.
